Thank you for booking a photo session with A Dog's Life Photography!

Your session will take place at Photo Fusion Studio in Phoenix. The address is 2441 E. Indian School Rd., Ste 103, Phoenix, AZ 85016. We are on Indian School Rd just east of 24th St on the south side of the road. The studio is in the back of the complex.

Please call Susan at 602-535-2444 as soon as possible if you are running late or need to reschedule.  Rescue group sessions are booked back to back so we will be on a tight timeline. If there is another group in the studio when you arrive, please wait patiently outside the door for your turn. We may need your assistance in getting the animals to work in front of the camera.

You may bring up to two dogs with you. We most likely will be shooting using a white background only. This is the best technique for most marketing and website design purposes. It also helps to isolate the dog's look and personality. We will take basic closeup and full body shots and may on occasion dress them up in a little "flair".

Please note that white fluffy dogs do not show up very well against a white backdrop. When selecting the best dogs to bring, I would suggest that you first consider the dog that needs the photos the most to help them find a fur-ever home. Of the dogs most in need, consider the following:

  • Will they be able to sit/lay/stay long enough for a photo?
  • Will they stand out against a white background?
  • Will they tolerate us putting a few articles of clothing or accessories on them to spice up the photo a bit?
  • Are they good with other dogs and people? There will be other rescue groups coming and going so they need to get along well with others.
  • Do they represent the types of dogs that your group rescues most often? If you are going to use the photos for promotional or fund-raising purposes, you will want to bring dogs that can be a model for your organization.

We look forward to working with you and your organization!
